Jonas Sports is delighted to announce a new six-year partnership with Wigan Athletic, who have selected the Jonas Sports Retail and Payments solution to power their merchandise operations across both online and in-store channels.
A club with a proud history, including an unforgettable FA Cup triumph in 2013, Wigan Athletic has always enjoyed a passionate fanbase. This new agreement underlines the club’s commitment to those supporters by ensuring that their retail experience matches the high standards they expect on and off the pitch.
The Jonas Sports Retail platform will provide the Latics with a modern, fully integrated system that connects the club’s e-commerce site and physical store. The technology will improve stock visibility, streamline operations and payments, whilst delivering a faster, more convenient matchday service – all designed to make life easier for fans while helping the club grow its retail business.
The long-term deal comes shortly after Wigan Warriors, the town’s Super League club, also partnered with Jonas Sports. Having both professional clubs in Wigan choose the same provider highlights Jonas Sports’ growing reputation as the go-to retail solution for elite sport in the UK.
