New auction module for Jonas Sports Retail

Jonas Sports Retail – Auctions

Jonas Sports - November 12, 2020

Auction Site for Sports Retail

We’ve been busy updating our Jonas Sports Retail solution and have created an Auction Module, which can be completely integrated into your existing store.

Your can now add an additional revenue stream to your online shop by selling match worn kits and club memorabila direct to your fans. The Auction Module is a great way to help raise funds for your charity partners and foundations.

The Auction Module is in use at a number of clubs, going live first with Premier League club West Ham United. They’ve had great success, raising over £44,000 for their charity partner Royal British Legion, a 7x increase compared to their previous 3rd party solution. You can read the case study here.

Find out how it works by watching the video below.

How it Works

  • Fans place the maximum bid they are willing to spend
  • The sale price is the minimum amount required to win the auction (in increments of £5)
  • For example, if three fans made bids of £300, £400 and £500 respectively, the fan who bid £500 would win the item for £405 (as it is £5 more than the next highest bid).

Auction Types

  • Silent Reserve
No minimum starting price, but a reserve that needs to be met in order for the product to sell.
  • Starting Price
A minimum starting price required to bid on the item.
  • No Reserve
No reserve set and no starting price.
